A Successful Partnership with the Local Church

“A week ago, I met with Sushil Marandi, the main Santal pastor we worked with on the film produced for the Santal people (The Santal are 8 million native people of India who are currently about 3% Christian) Sushil told me that, after the film, his father (The Village Headman) and his mom finally were baptized.  His dad passed away shortly thereafter.  Sushil put the film on YouTube – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D6f3lpxONiQ  and in 3 months over 23,500 people watched the film; even though most Santal do not have access to the internet. Through Hilo Missionary Church, monies were raised to distribute 5000 DVDs and the film will be taken to Santal villages to be shown in conjunction with the Jesus Film.  We are thankful for the partnership with Create International who produced this effective film.”  Rev.
